Pam’s Perfect Guac!
Our dedicated Board president, Pam, demo’d this recipe at the October Owner’s Weekend, and people went just nuts for it. She has kindly shared her recipe with us! Simple perfection. It’s all in the quality of the ingredients, and boy do we carry some mean avocados.
1 large or 2 small avocados
1/2 medium onion (red, white, or sweet), diced
1 clove garlic, finely minced or crushed
1 medium tomato
cilantro finely chopped, if you like cilantro
1/2-1 teaspoon salt
1 lime or 1/2 lemon (less for Meyer lemon!)
Optional: 1/2 - 1 jalapeno, depending on how hot you like it (discard the seeds and membranes for milder jalapeno flavor)
Stir all together (a lot if you like it smoother, a little if you like it chunkier), and eat with your favorite chips!
